The college's open door admissions policy ensures that every person who can benefit from higher education has the opportunity to enroll.

Follow the steps below to begin making progress toward a college degree or certificate.

Registration Process for New Students

Step 1: Apply
To take classes for college credit, you must complete the application for admission. Submission of your official high school transcript or copy of your diploma/GED certificate also required.

Step 2: Sign Up
Once admitted, sign up to attend an Advising Information Session to learn about degree planning, registration and more.

Step 3: Assessment
Students new to college must demonstrate readiness for collegiate level work.

Step 4: Advise/Register
Find out the best way for you to register for classes.

Step 5: Get Aid
Students are encouraged to explore financial aid opportunities and apply for aid as soon as possible at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Step 6: Payment
Tuition is due on the payment due date printed on the registration summary, payable in person to the CVC cashier, online via eConnect, or by mail.

Step 7: Orientation
'Commit to Success' Orientation is required for all students new to college.
