Enrolling in Courses

The distance education veterianry technology program works somewhat differently from traditional college classes. In the distance education veterinary technology program we enroll students in classes after the completion of the online college application and then start the remainder of the required paper work. To get started in the program you need complete the online college application or a paperbased application if you are an International student. Upon completion you will be issued an id number.  If the id number is not immediately displayed, please wait 24-48 hours and then contact the office at 877-353-3842 and after verification of your SS# we will issue the id verbally. After you have obtained the ID number, you can register by phone through AAHA at 1-800-883-6301, or electronically through the AAHA web site.

New students

1. Complete the Online Application for Admission
2. Register with AAHA 1-800-883-6301
3. Order course materials.
4. Download and print the following forms (due by the 2nd week of class)

• Personal Forms
  • Program Application
  • Health Risk Acknowledgement
  • Release of Liability
•  OCCI forms (If unsure of clinic's OCCI status please contact Carolyn Boshart)
  • Facility Aggreement
  • Preceptor Agreement
  • Hospital Standards Agreement
